Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Mandarin Construction Manager to join their client's team in San Gabriel, CA. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage construction projects with a focus on quality and efficiency. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction management within the Los Angeles area.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with subcontractors on company expectations and quality control.
- Provide training to the construction department, formulate a unified standard operating procedure, and improve working ability and efficiency from technical and communication perspectives.
- Create team schedules and workloads efficiently to meet project deadlines and commitments.
- Arrange project implementation plans and supervise project assistants, project managers, and subcontractors to complete work on time with excellent quality.
- Be on-site daily at job sites to coordinate schedules of subcontractors, suppliers, and assistants and manage different project management teams.
- Keep an organized control of multiple job sites and Project Managers' schedules.
- Estimate job pricing including material and labor and compare with estimates given from subcontractors.
- Actively participate in project meetings, document discussions through detailed meeting minutes, and contribute to quality assurance/quality control review sessions at project milestones.
- Check job sites before submission, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of residential construction project management experience in the Los Angeles area.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in construction team management.
- Demonstrating a solid understanding of Los Angeles area residential project processes and construction building codes.
- Confidence in dealing with inspection and other related issues to pass every inspection on time.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, an independent and analytical mindset, attentive listening abilities, and a commitment to follow through.
- Team leadership and coordination ability, goal-oriented, strong subjective initiative, efficient and open-minded.
- Excellent communication skills, with effective cooperation with different stakeholders.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a team, fostering positive working relationships with other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in various types of construction software, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Must have reliable transportation to work sites when necessary.
Required Work Hours
8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Saturday, with a lunch break.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
